White flirty dresses, summer sandals, and hats.

I had fun finding some beautiful white dresses, summer sandals and hats so we can imagine being somewhere fun and not stuck at home in quarantine. I am sitting here looking out my window in quarantine feeling a bit isolated, pasty white, greys lurking in the darkness of my disheveled head, chubby and wearing my comfiest ugly clothes. You know what I’m talking about …. there is no motivation to get ready or do my hair because there is nowhere to go and no one to see. My grays are getting grayer and I am getting frumpier by the minute. My most exciting event of the day is playing BINGO on houseparty with my tennis friends tonight at 7pm and that is in pajama attire …. LOL :). Don’t pretend like this is not happening to you …. I am ready for this quarantine to be over! What about you?

So instead of highlighting the best comfiest ugly clothes, I am going on a trip to Saint Tropez. Come along with me as we imagine a fun trip to the French Riviera where we run around to beach parties, nightclubs and shopping in flirty white dresses, cute strappy sandals and fun summer hats.

We are staying at Hotel de Paris Saint-Tropez. I like this hotel, its very chic, rooms are cute, bathrooms are nice, there’s a gym, great lobby bar and a super cool rooftop pool area. Definitely my kind of place. It’s also walking distance to all the great shopping and to all the fun restaurants along the St. Tropez Harbor where we can catch a glimpse of all the cool yachts parked along the harbor. Saint Tropez is the perfect place to show off our whites and of course our flirty dresses, cute sandals and fun summer hats.

So my favorite strappy sandal designer K. Jacques is based out of Saint Tropez. You can shop his cute summer sandals below. He opened a small workshop in Saint-Tropez in 1933 at 33 Rue Allard and now he has two locations in Saint-Tropez and one in Paris. His sandals have adorned the feet of artists, painters, writers and famous people from all over the world including Brigitte Bardot, Madeleine Renaud, Joan Collins, Picasso and many others who flocked to Saint-Tropez every summer. The brand symbolizes luxury, fashion, elegance and comfort. I bought a pair of small heeled strappy brown sandals in St. Tropez and they are my go-to summer sandal. They are so cute and comfy!

For the first day in town, we are going to get ready and have a drink upstairs in the rooftop pool area of the Hotel de Paris. It’s quite a posh space and it’s great for a few drinks and for great people watching. Tonight is casual so we will pair a flowy white flirty dress with summer sandals, a hat and cool sunglasses. I’m going to start with the hat and sunglasses because the afternoon sun is hot. Nothing pairs better with a flirty dress and summer sandals like a cute hat and sunglasses. What white dress is on your wish list? I can’t wait to be able to wear white again. I will be buying a few of these that can cover a little pooch that has been growing since quarantine. It’s probably from eating too much pasta and God knows what else. LOL. All we do is go from eating lunch to thinking about the next time we eat.
