The focus of this post, is this amazing and simple Balmain white top used to make 3 amazing outfits. Yes, I know it is still winter but aren’t you already getting excited for spring and summer? I most certainly am! That’s pretty much what I live for even though I do love the cool weather in winter.

Before we move on to this amazing Balmain white top, let’s learn a little bit about the designer Balmain. It is a French luxury Fashion house that was founded by Pierre Balmain. He started his career at the atelier of Lucien Lelong, where he worked alongside both Dior and Hubert de Givenchy. When he left to form his own house in 1945, Balmain quickly became a favorite of both European and Hollywood royalty. Stars like Katharine Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Sophia Loren wore his designs introducing them to a vast audience across the globe. He passed away in 1982 and his house has since been guided by a series of strong designers.

I love the simplicity of this Balmain top. The white with the black writing, the three metallic buttons on the shoulder and the cap sleeve. A white top can work with almost everything. This top is on my bucket list because it commands a hefty price tag. I will save up for it and in the meantime, I found some other cute black and white tops that are a lot less expensive and are cute. These tops are perfect for any packing list. You can wear them with black shorts, black mini skirt, black long skirt or black faux leather leggings to make 3 or more amazing outfits.

As I’m daydreaming about owning the fancy Balmain top, I am picturing what I would wear with it to stroll down the street in Paris. We are looking for a good place to have a glass of wine with a snack then go to the club at my hotel. Paris is chilly this time of year so I am going to pair the Balmain top with faux leather pants and comfy booties and a black bomber jacket. We are off to L’Atlas on Rue de Buci. You can sit outside all afternoon on the patio and people watch and eat delicious French bar food: Charcuterie, frog legs, french onion soup, steak frites, cheese plates. Yum, yum, yum, oh, and of course good wine. Such a fun afternoon!

Now, we are off to the Club at our hotel Le Bains! What a perfect way to end our trip!
